About the Poem
The poet has great love for his motherland, Rajasthan. He gives many points on which he has a strong liking for the motherland. The golden sands, forests, palaces, loyal people who are also bold and brave, the joint families, rich and colourful culture, fairs, festival, spirituality and peace are, strongly loved by the poet about his motherland, Rajasthan.
Summary of the Poem
The poet says that he was born on the land where the jewellery is of silver, the sand is golden, full of culture. He was borm in the royal land which is full of stories of which everyone reads in the books, where the loyalty of people is not sold for a few coins. A place where the attitude of people is bold and caring, old people are given due respect who scold with the feeling of love हैं and affection which keeps the family together. A place where there are so many unsaid secrets of holy spirits, where the poet gets emotional even in the memory, a place which is full of many forts and palaces, a place which has rich culture with So many festivals. A place where so many great warriors were bom to fight bravely just to keep their words. A place where the life is peaceful, pleasant and pure, a place whose story he will love to tell. कवि अपने मातृभूमि, राजस्थान, से बहुत प्रेम करता है। इसके पक्ष में वह अनेक बिंदु देता है जिनके आधार पर उसे अपनी मातृभूमि अत्यंत प्रिय है। सुनहरी रेत, किले, महल, ईमानदार लोग जो बहादुर भी हैं, संयुक्त परिवार, समृद्धि एवं रंगों से लोग जो बहादुर भी हैं, संयुक्त परिवार, समृद्धि एवं रंगों से ऐसे ही बिंदु है जो कवि अपनी मातृभूमि के बारे में बहुत पसंद करता है।
कविता का सार
कवि कहते हैं कि उनका जन्म ऐसी धरती पर हुआ था जहां चांदी के आभूषण होते हैं, जहां सुनहरी रेत है, ऐसा स्थान जहां समृद्ध संस्कृति है, जिसके राजाओं की कहानी सब किताबों में पढ़ते हैं, जहां थोड़े से फायदे के लिए अपनी निष्ठा को चंद सिक्कों में नहीं बेचा जाता। ऐसा स्थान जहां बड़े अपने छोटों का ध्यान रखते हैं, निडरे होते हैं, जहां वृद्धों को आदर दिया जाता है जो प्रेम भरी भावना से डांटते भी ताकि परिवार जुड़ा रहे। ऐसा स्थान जहां पवित्र आत्माओं के अनेक अनकहे किस्से कहे जाते हैं, ऐसा स्थान जहां का जिक्र होते ही कवि भावुक हो जाते हैं। ऐसा स्थान जहां अनेक किले और महल है, जिसकी समृद्ध संस्कृति है, जहां अनेक त्यौहार मनाए जाते हैं। ऐसा स्थान जहां अनेक महान योद्धाओं ने जन्म लिया और केवल अपने वचन की पूर्ति के लिए युद्ध भूमि में बहादुरी से लड़े। ऐसा स्थान जहां जीवन शांतिपूर्ण तथा पवित्र है, जिस की कहानी वह (कवि) हर किसी को सुनाना चाहेगा। वह स्थान और कोई नहीं राजस्थान है।
